Advance Publication of Current Acts and Resolves

The Acts and Resolves of Massachusetts is the official publication of the state legislature’s session laws.

Massachusetts law requires advance publication of the Acts and Resolves enacted during a legislative session. Our office publishes the session laws immediately after enactment. We’ll then distribute pamphlet editions of the advance copies during the legislative session.

The State Bookstore holds copies of these laws for public use. You can also find them in the Secretary’s Springfield office. We also publish bound editions of all laws enacted during each session, usually a few months after the session ends.
