Employed Terminated Details about your lobbyist or lobbyist entity's efforts 01/01/2016 The LSP Association (LSPA), founded in 1993, is a professional association with about 850 members and a mission to promote sound business and professional practices among Licensed Site Professionals. Licensed Site Professionals (LSPs) are the scientists, engineers, and public health specialists who are authorized by the Commonwealth to work on behalf of the property owners, operators, and other responsible parties to oversee the assessment and cleanup of contamination that has been released into the environment. With the exception of the Executive Director, which is my position, the LSPA is an all-volunteer organization whose members contribute to the development of the practice through involvement in the Association as advocates for our profession. The LSPA interacts with state administrative offices and the legislature on issues of interest to the profession; topics include: brownfields redevelopment, Chapter 21E, the MCP regulations, oil and hazardous materials, soil management and movement, the LSP Board of Registration, and Underground Storage Tanks. The LSPA does not have any legislation to file at this time.
