The attorney will provide advice and counsel on the preparation and filing of the legislation relative to parity in reimbursements for certified registered nurse anesthetists (the “bill”). This includes review of the bill, revising the text and title, any necessary and appropriate research, conversations and meetings with MANA staff, and any other assistance with preparation and filing.
The attorney will also provide the following services commencing January 1, 2025: Regular tracking of the bill; providing advice and counsel; meeting, whether remotely or in personal meetings, with MANA staff, stakeholders, and legislators and their staff; attending hearings; research; working with committee staff regarding further changes to the bill; and any other activities needed.
