Description
The City of Boston, Massachusetts (the “City”), on behalf of the Consumers of the Boston Community Choice Electricity Program (the “Program”) and acting by and through its Commissioner of the Environment (the “Official”), hereby solicits proposals from qualified retail competitive suppliers (“Respondents” or “Suppliers”) to provide all requirements power supply to the City’s Program. The successful Respondent will supply electricity to all consumer accounts participating in the Program (“Participating Consumers”) pursuant to an Electric Service Agreement (“ESA”) with a supply term of 12 or 24 months commencing on the first meter-read date following 12/1/25. The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (the “DPU”) approved the City’s Program by its Order dated 7/22/20, in docket D.P.U. 19-65. The City has engaged Colonial Power Group, Inc. (“Colonial”) as its Program consultant.
