The City of Lawrence, Massachusetts, through its Office of Planning & Development is soliciting proposals from qualified appraisers “On Call Appraisal Services”, who are State certified and/or licensed, for a range of appraisal services related to residential, commercial, industrial, and vacant properties. The selected appraisal consultant(s) would be engaged by the Department through an on-call task order contract for a period of two years, with an option for an additional one year at the City’s discretion. The City seeks qualified consultant(s) capable of rendering professional appraisal services and related advisory services on an on-call basis. Appraisal services will be performed under the auspices of the Office of Planning & Development, although the selected consultant(s) may be called upon to assist other City departments, such as the Assessing Department, the Business & Economic Development, Community Development, and the Legal Department. |

Under this contract, the Department will call upon the selected consultant(s) on a project by-project basis. When a project has been identified, the Department will request a scope of work and fee from the selected consultant(s) to perform the appraisal services necessary, in conformance with the contract. Presently, the City is soliciting proposals from firms for on-call services.
