DCR records instruments, including deeds, liens and plans, at Registries of Deeds across the Commonwealth. The Secretary of the Commonwealth, which includes the Division of Registry of Deeds, has authorized five entities to electronically file instruments to be recorded at specific registries. Simplifile is the only vendor that has been approved by the Secretary of the Commonwealth to electronically record instruments at all 13 registry locations under its jurisdiction. |
