EMERGENCY DETERMINATION PURSUANT TO G.L. C. 30B, §8 WELLNESS CENTER MANAGEMENT CONTRACT
Pursuant to the provisions of G.L. c. 30B, §8, it is determined that the continuing provision of the Wellness Center management services in accordance with the existing contract with Playfit is necessary to avoid endangerment to the health and wellness of the residents who utilize the Everett Wellness Center. The current Wellness Center management contract has been competitively procured, notwithstanding the inadvertent failure to publish this procurement on the COMMBUYS system. The City’s Wellness Center program provides underserved City individuals and families with programs that allow them to live a healthy lifestyle and offers those families a space to work out and engage in physical fitness activities. |
