Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30, 39M, the North Attleborough Electric Department (NAED) invites qualified persons to submit quotes to install an extension of our current fiber network (approximately 5,400’). The North Attleborough Electric Department (NAED) operates and maintains an electric utility, substation and a separate Operations Center. NAED currently maintains an existing fiber network, which needs to be extended to a new end point for connection to a radio system. The installation will be approximately 5,400 feet of 48 count fiber (NAED supplied) on High Street from pole 15 to pole 60, and to pole 3A off pole 60. Installation of a splice box on pole 60. Investigate where current fiber ends NAED4A 11 and 12 and to make connection to end point. The responding firm will be expected to have the installation completed within 30 days of the issuance of the contract. |
