The City of Boston, acting through the Commissioner of the Boston Transportation Department ("BTD"), invites submissions from qualified consultants ("Consultant") to provide public engagement, planning, and design services for transportation improvements in two commercial districts in Boston - Roslindale Square and Maverick Square. The objectives of this project are to: support small business commercial districts through investment in transportation and public realm; and improve safety, connectivity, and accessibility for those living and working in the areas as well as those visiting by foot, bike, transit, and car. The selected consultant will work in partnership with City staff, local communities, and relevant stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop 25% concept plans for mobility and public realm improvements for these complex and vibrant commercial districts. |
