The Town of Leicester is seeking bids for the painting of the Leicester Town Hall, 3 Washburn Square, Leicester, MA 01524. Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Town Administrator, 3 Washburn Square, Leicester, MA 01524 until the deadline for the following: Painting of four columns, a four-sided steeple, ceiling of the overhang on the front of the building, all entranceways and doors, and thirteen windows. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. |

All surfaces to be scraped and sanded, with loose trim/siding being nailed back down. All surfaces to be painted with primer sealer; all damaged wood to be repaired with filler. Use of an articulating lift will be required. Grounds in the painting areas to be covered with tarps daily to catch scraped paint and other debris; all refuse to be removed and disposed of daily.Bids shall be addressed to the Town of Leicester and should be submitted in the form specified, in a sealed envelope endorsed “Bid –Town Hall Painting” with the bidder’s name and address. Each bidder shall enclose with the bid an acceptable bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid’s value on the form specified. The Town of Leicester reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding and to make the award as appears to the best interests of the Town. |
