The Town of Plainville invites sealed proposals for the construction of a 1.5 MGD Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to be located at 171 East Bacon Street in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149. The work includes the construction of a new WTP designed to remove iron, manganese, and PFAS using greensand filtration and granular activated carbon. This project is subject to the requirements of M.G.L. c. 149, §§ 44A - 44J, including the use of prequalified Filed Subcontractors in the categories of: Acoustical Tile, Electrical, Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems, Glass/Glazing, HVAC, Masonry, Metal Windows, Misc/Ornamental Metals, Painting, Plumbing, Resilient Flooring, Roofing/Flashing, Tile, Water/Damp-proofing, and Caulking. |
