“Smith Memorial Hall HVAC System Replacement Project”. The work of this contract includes the final design and installation of multiple heat pump systems, inclusive of furnishing and installing all required mechanical components and appurtenances for the proper heating and cooling of the Smith Memorial Hall. Work will also include coordination with the Town’s electrical and plumbing installers. General Bidders must be HVAC Contractors with ten years of experience. |

Non-mandatory (but strongly encouraged) site visit for HVAC Contractors: 1/22/25 @ 10:00 A.M. at the project site, Smith Memorial Hall, 207 Main St., Dighton, MA 02715. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total value of the Bid in the form of a Bid bond or certified/treasurer’s check. The bidding and award of this Contract shall be in full compliance with Massachusetts General Law, all Federal, State and Town of Dighton regulations and is subject to the minimum wage rates set under M.G.L. c. 149, §§ 26 through 27H. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids when such action is deemed in the best interests of the Town. Non-responsive and/or unbalanced Bids may be rejected. |
