Project |
The proposed project consists of a two-story, 148,034 gsf building. The project maintains a majority of the existing facility, along with constructing new additions to the South and East of the existing building. The addition to the South includes a new, two-story classroom wing which will become the dedicated middle school. The addition to the East will include a new gym, public restrooms, new superintendent’s/business office, and back of house spaces. The existing gym will be repurposed into an alternate PE space and media center, and existing high school classrooms, locker rooms, will be renovated and reconfigured. The site work is limited to new site circulation, parking, drainage, utilities, outdoor classroom and landscaping. |

Town of Millis, acting through its School Building Committee, invites Qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk firms pursuant to M.G.L. c. 149A. Response to this Request of Qualifications is the first step in a two phase procurement process. RFQ Informational Meeting: 12/9/25 @ 3:00 P.M. at above agency address (meet in the Library to start the tour). Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) shall be submitted electronically at www.Projectdog.com. Hard copies will not be accepted by Projectdog, Inc. or by the Awarding Authority. Tutorials and instructions are available online at www.Projectdog.com. This project will require a successful Town Ballot on 12/8/25 for the full funding of the project. Construction of the addition and renovation is expected to start in April 2027 with 28 months anticipated to complete construction. |
