Project |
The work of this contract generally consists of furnishing and installing permanent liquid propane emergency generators at the Wolf Island Road Pump Station and the Combined Chemical Feed Station and furnishing and installing permanent liquid propane emergency generator replacements at the Perry Hill Pump Station and Main Pump Station as well as electrical service upgrades at the Main Pump Station. Work also includes furnishing and installing 1,000 gallon liquid propane tanks, concrete pads, bollards, chain link fence, selective demolition, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and associated electrical and gas piping work. |

Additional Information |
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project. |
