Bid securities shall be in amount of 5% of the bid and in the form of a certified check drawn upon a bank within the State of Massachusetts or a bid bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Massachusetts, made payable to the owner.
The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance and Payment Bond and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within five days following notification of the acceptance of his Bid.
This project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awarded by Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 30, § 39M, to Federal Labor Provisions, and to Massachusetts minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149, §§ 26 to 27H inclusive, or by the Davis/Bacon Wage Rate, whichever hourly rate pays more. |
