Project |
The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first step of a two phase bidding process. The work consists of construction of a new 2.16 MGD water treatment plant at the Bigelow Road site in an 8,825 s.f. masonry building. The work also consists of construction of a new 1.22 MGD water treatment plant at the Memorial Beach site in a 3,200 s.f. masonry building. The work includes replacement of approximately 1,800 linear feet of water main on Bigelow Road. The project shall be completed within 630 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Construction is expected to begin in the Summer of 2024. |

Non-mandatory virtual informational meeting: 1/4/24 @ 1:00 P.M. Informational meeting details will be in the RFQ. Following prequalification, the Town of Webster will invite the prequalified respondents to submit General Bids and Filed Sub-Bids for the project. The successful respondent must be able to obtain bonding for the full construction cost. The minimum DBE goals for the project are 4.2% D/MBE participation and 4.5% D/WBE participation by certified DBE firms. Further public notice information regarding the specifics of this project and the prequalification evaluation criteria and select process is included in the RFQ. The DCAMM certificate of eligibility to be submitted by the General Bidder shall be for the category of work defined as "Sewage and Water Treatment Plants". The DCAMM certificate of eligibility to be submitted by the Filed Sub-Bidder shall be for the category of work for which they are submitted a bid. |
