The City of North Adams, Massachusetts, the awarding authority, through its Department of Public Services (DPS), invites sealed bids from industrial equipment suppliers for the purchase and the delivery and installation of a replacement truck scale deck and associated equipment thereto, to the city’s Transfer Station situate at 151 E Street, North Adams, MA 01247, in accordance with the documents as prepared by the Commissioner of the DPS.
The total cost of the project with delivery is estimated at $150,000.00 with delivery thereto due within 180 calendar days.

Wages are subject to Massachusetts minimum wage rates as per M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27H inclusive.
All bids will require a 5% bid deposit either by cashier’s check or by a qualified bid bond pursuant to MGL Ch 30 §39M. This project is being funded through a local municipal appropriation.
The lowest qualified and most responsible bidder shall be awarded the project subject to the availability of funding. The City of North Adams reserves the right to reject and or all bids or to waive any, informalities in the bidding. |
