The CITY of Framingham (“CITY”) invites sealed proposals to retain the services of a professional contractor specializing in the testing of backflow prevention devices within the Water Division service area. There are currently approximately 2,727 existing backflow devices which are approximately 2,153 are reduced pressure devices and approximately 574 double check devices. Reduced pressure devices shall be tested (twice a year) and double checks shall be tested (once a year) in accordance with the Department of Environmental Protection Drinking Water regulations of Massachusetts |
