Additional Information |
The base bid work consists of the replacement of three existing dry-pit pumps and associated piping, valves and variable frequency drives (VFDs). Additive Alternate No. 1 includes replacement of an existing positive displacement aeration blower with two new turbo aeration blowers and miscellaneous inlet and discharge piping. Additive Alternate No. 2 includes the replacement of existing dissolved oxygen sensor equipment. The Town has pre-purchased the Influent Pumps, VFDs and the required valves and fittings for the Influent Pumps, and the valves for the Aeration Blowers, and these items will be on-site for the Contractor to incorporate into the work. |
