The Boston Home will continue its efforts in health care reform and to educate policymakers to promote the medical services provided to its in-house residents and out-patient program members, attending our B!Fit day program, who live in the community with multiple sclerosis and other progressive neurological diseases. We will analyze federal, state and local appropriations bills, communicate the analysis to key stakeholders and advocate for resources and programs that support the operations of The Boston Home. We will coordinate and provide testimony on legislation, budgetary matters and regulations that affect the operations of The Boston Home and the population we serve and form relationships with key stakeholders including elected and appointed officials, statewide to gain support for specific policy items and promote public health initiatives of mutual interest.
