Second, the rates paid through Child Care Financial Assistance (CCFA) represent the state’s commitment to fund the cost of care for children from economically marginalized families. We need to increase income eligibility for CCFA to expand family access AND pay CCFA rates that increase livable wages to hire and retain educators who provide this care.
