For calendar year 2024, we will continue to engage the services of Ventry Associates LLP to support high quality vocational technical and agricultural education in Massachusetts. This will include advocacy for legislation to provide additional funding for renovation, expansion or replacement of vocational-technical high schools, increased construction reimbursement rates from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, and improved access to students in seventh and eighth grades to enable our schools to inform those students about the option of attending a vocational or agricultural high school or comprehensive high school with state approved vocational technical programs. Ventry will also continue to educate MAVA members about state government and the legislative process.
