Employed Terminated Details about your lobbyist or lobbyist entity's efforts 01/01/2019 05/31/2019 Leda will work on legislative measures pertaining to sexual and reproductive health care - including addressing barriers to accessing abortion care and other sexual and reproductive health care services, comprehensive sex education, telemedicine, and health care cost containment and delivery transformation issues. Leda will specifically support An Act to Remove Obstacles and Expand Abortion Access and An Act Relative to Healthy Youth. Leda will also work to oppose legislation creating barriers to sexual and reproductive health access, including proposed bans on abortion care, targeted regulation of abortion providers, and biased counseling requirements. Leda may also lobby members of the Executive Branch on matters pertaining to compliance with federal rules and regulations, Medicaid reimbursement rates, access to long-acting reversible contraception, funding for family planning and abortion services, participation in Accountable Care Organizations and value-based payments, and health care system transformation.
