This lobbyist will handle, track and influence any and all legislation and budget amendments that would be perceived to have an impact on the members of the Home Care Alliance. Current bills include the re-filed Act Relative to Home Health and Hospice Aides and new legislation, An Act strengthening the quality and efficiency of home health care services. This lobbyist has and will continue work on the FY17 state budget through its various phases. This lobbyist will deal with the Joint Committees on Public Health, Joint Committee on Health Care Financing, Joint Committee on Elder Affairs and other legislators as well as the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, Department of Higher Education, and the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.
