In connection with MAHP’s lobbying activities related to press statements and media outreach on issues related to the Senate Patient’s First Act (SB2984), Step Therapy legislation (SB2843), the Health Policy Commission’s Cost Trend Hearing, and PANDA/PANS (H947 and SB613). Melwood arranged and scheduled phone calls with members of the print and electronic media, helped to write press releases and to distribute them to key outlets, and worked with the MAHP team to develop various press materials and press strategy in support of MAHP’s position.
