Christian Hoepfner met with members of the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center including Stephen Pike, the Chief Executive Officer. The discussions involved the extension of a Grant Agreement between MassCEC and Fraunhofer USA Inc. which expires on December 31th 2018 for foundational grant funding. Discussions were focused on an updated Grant Plan to the Grant Agreement with updated task and milestone descriptions.
During this six month period, Christian also met with Patrick Woodcock, the Assistant Secretary of Energy for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to discuss ways the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs can work with Fraunhofer USA's Center for Sustainable Energy Systems in support of energy policies for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Lobbying compensation during this six month period represents the direct salary for the fewer than ten hours spent during these discussions and Christian Hoepfner qualifies for the incidental lobbyist designation.
