Mustered out, 14 June, 1864: The three years men were mustered out on June 12th , 1864, and the veterans and recruits were consolidated as the 11th Massachusetts Battalion Infantry with five companies. The 16th Massachusetts Infantry veterans and recruits were assigned to the 11th Massachusetts Battalion Infantry on 11 July11th , 1864, and the 11th Massachusetts Infantry was mustered out at Readville, Massachusetts, on 14 June, 1865.
