Massachusetts Constitution, 1780

The MA Constitution is the oldest written document still used for governance in the world. Although amended, it has never been replaced. Many of John Adams's ideas expressed in it including the separation of powers and a declaration of rights, were later incorporated into the US Constitution of 1787.
