Irish Immigration and the Know-Nothings

Mirella Blum Mirella Blum is a graduate of Arlington High School. She currently works in a neuroscience laboratory at Harvard University, and her interests include biology, history, and East Asian studies. She will attend Barnard College next year..

Mirella worked at the Commonwealth Museum through Arlington High School’s senior internship program. This initiative provides outside working experience for seniors who have thrived in the high school environment.

The 11th and 12th Massachusetts Regiments

Stephen A. Schlicting Stephen A. Schlicting has taught history at Weymouth High School for the past nine years. He is a graduate of Boston College and Bridgewater State College and has twenty years of teaching experience in other Massachusetts high schools.

These exhibits highlight the participation of Weymouth soldiers in two Civil War regiments from Massachusetts.
