Massachusetts Archaeology Month — October 2023

This year marks the 31st annual Massachusetts Archaeology Month. Many events will be held throughout Massachusetts. We encourage you to look into your local museums, historical societies, and other cultural institutions, as many of these organizations across Massachusetts are offering online programs and other content. We also encourage you to use our online content, such as the Archaeology Resources for Teachers, which includes links to museums, websites, books, and other resources. Explore our online exhibits to explore more about archaeology in Massachusetts.
