This office, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, approves educational institutions and programs for benefits eligibility. It monitors these programs and the veterans participating in them. After acceptance by the educational institution, veterans and VA-eligible persons apply to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for educational benefits.
