The Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) invites sealed bids for Tree Cutting and Removal (45.1 acres) and Stump Removal (15 acres) at the William Forward Wildlife Management Area, Newbury, MA. This project involves furnishing all labor and materials, tools and equipment to conduct clearing of Trees consists of red pine and Norway spruce plantations as well as some areas of hardwoods adjacent to the plantations. Tree hedgerows surrounding the open fields will have trees removed to open up sightlines for state listed grassland birds. Stump removal will cover a smaller portion of the site to increase the size of the grasslands. |
