The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife (MassWildlife) is soliciting written quotes from Contractors to conduct important habitat restoration work during Fiscal Year 2025 on 76 acres at the Montague Plains Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Montague, Massachusetts. Treatments to be conducted include re-mowing/mulching of tree stump sprouts in previously thinned woodland and establishment of fire breaks. Sprouts must be cut to no lower than 12” from the ground and no higher than 18” from the ground. All work must be completed no later than May 20, 2025. |

Pre-Bid Conference:
It is mandatory for all vendors to attend a pre-bid conference prior to submitting a bid. A bidder’s conference is scheduled at the site on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 9:00 am. Attendees should be prepared to walk in snow for 30 minutes. The bidders conference will meet at Montague Plains WMA off Old Northfield Road, Montague, MA (42.552294, -72.528543). |
