Electronic Recording System Requirements

Generally speaking, most computers will meet the minimum workstation requirements.

Minimum Workstation Requirements:

  • Processor: Pentium 4 - 2Ghz or higher
  • Memory: 1 GB
  • Disk Storage: 10 Gigabytes of free space
  • Operating System: Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista SP1
  • Browser: Internet Explorer 7 or higher

The browser must support 128-bit encryption java scripting and the feature must be enabled. Per-session cookies must also be allowed. More information regarding browser configuration is provided to each E-file Submitter when they are ready to contact us. Detailed workstation configuration information will be made available at that time.

Software Requirements:

Microsoft Extensible Markup Language (XML) parser tool must be installed and enabled. More information regarding the installation of the XML parser tool is provided to each E-file Submitter when they are ready to contact us. Detailed workstation configuration information will be made available at that time.

Scanner Requirements:

In order to file documents electronically through the portal, you must scan an image of each original document. Documents must be scanned by a scanner that generates image files in the format of multi-page TIFFs with G4 compression. The resolution of the images must be 200 dpi.
