Document Return Policy

Original documents will not be held at the Registry of Deeds. There are three options for return of your documents:

  1. Stamped, self-addressed envelope provided by person recording.
  2. In-House Mailbox, provided by the Registry of Deeds for a fee of $50.00 per year.
  3. Postage fee charged at the time of recording and the documents will be mailed back. 

    Postage Fees Are:

      1 - 4 Pages            $ .50

      5 - 8 Pages            $ .80

      9 - 14 Pages          $1.30

      15 - 18 Pages        $1.60

      19 - 22 Pages        $1.90

      23 - 26 Pages        $2.10

      27 - 30 Pages        $2.50

      31 - 34 Pages        $3.00

      35 or more Pages   $3.00 + $ .10 per page

Please note, any document presented for recording at the Registry of Deeds without complying with the document return policy will be rejected.
