Judge Julian Houston

Superior Court Judge Julian Houston discussed the struggle for African-American rights in Massachusetts. Included were the cases of “Mum Bett” and Quok Walker - abolishing slavery in the Commonwealth - and the story of fugitive slave Anthony Burns.  Judge Houston developed the Long Road To Justice project that includes a traveling exhibit, curriculum, and web exhibit.
