On February 12, 2013, students from the area were invited to an exclusive screening of the film Lincoln jointly sponsored by the Commonwealth Museum and John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. Hosted by Secretary Galvin, guest speakers included Tom Putman, Director of the JFK Library, and Representative Byron Rushing. A post screening discussion was led by Dr. Kerri Greenidge. Numerous documents from the Massachusetts Archives were on display for students to examine before and after the program.
