18th-century Stoneware Jug

The Parker-Harris pottery site produced both redware and stoneware during the first half of the 18th century. It was the first pottery to produce stoneware in New England. The story of the family that ran the Parker-Harris pottery is shared in the exhibit along with some fine examples of their pottery, which archaeologists discovered during their research.
