The Home Care Assistance Program is part of the Independent Living Division. The program provides homemaker services for individuals with disabilities aged 18-59 in order to help them participate in the community and live as independently as possible. For disabled elders over age 60 or under 60 with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease, see Senior Citizens. Chore services are contracted by the client through chore agencies and/or independent chore workers where no homemaker is available. Client may find a chore worker and MRC will pay the worker minimum wage.
