Formerly the Higher Education Information Center, TERI is a clearinghouse of information on financial aid, post-secondary education, training, and careers. It provides information and advice on a walk-in basis, by appointment, or by telephone to youth and adults. Assistance is also offered to guidance counselors, teachers, and others who are helping people plan for higher education. Located within the Boston Public Library, with major funding provided by the U.S. Department of Education, 24 Boston area colleges, the Massachusetts Higher Education Coordinating Council, and the American Student Assistance Corporation. The responsibilities of the Career and Learning Line (CALL) have been integrated into the functions of the center. The center is open Mon.-Thurs., 9:00 a.m.-9:00 pm; Fri.-Sat., 9:00 a.m.-5:00 pm.
